Hi, I’m Tiffany!
Eight years ago, I felt a nudge to start writing, so I started a blog about nothing in particular. I was curious about the words that might escape through my fingers and stick to the screen. Most of them ended up exploring the complicated place where my faith in Jesus and my struggle with Generalized Anxiety Disorder intersect. After writing a handful of personal essays and articles on the topic, I sensed that the whole of my story would offer more than the sum of its parts. So a year after starting my blog, I started my book.
It took seven years to write. The process spanned periods of unemployment and overemployment. (Did I mention I’m an English teacher? I’m an English teacher.) My book grew through seasons of intense anxiety storms and seasons of remission. It morphed as I taught 17 different courses at five different high schools in three different districts. And finally, it clawed its way into the world as I applied to grad school to get out of education and into clinical psychology (I start grad school in a few weeks!).
Anywho, in conclusion, to sum it up, and to transition smoothly, I’m here. I didn’t plan on being an author. Or leaving teaching. But I’m content in this moment. And I’m grateful that somehow, it led to you reading these words. My prayer is that God speaks to you—somehow—through them.
<3 Much love to you!
If you want the 221 page “about me,” you can find it here, starting August 10th, 2025. Self-promotion sure feels weird.
